Renewed Mind for self self-reliance(RMSR) is a non-profitable organisation,in 2016 it was recognized that there was a need for refugee representatives to addres,
the challenges that couse their underrepresentation in decision-making tables and policymaking processes on areas of shared concern.
RMSR-kenya is registered national network of RMSR in kenya as an association with the registrar of societies. The
organization is a membership organization drawing members from both the urban and camp based refugee-led organization.





RMSR-kenya it started in 2016 may and later it was lounched in 2017 and it started to perform its functions after the certification,this was after the refugee leader recognised the need for urgent need for refugee
leaders to be at the dicision-making tables and policymaking processes on matters affecting their day-to-day lives in capacity equal to the other key stakeholders and partners.
It was at this junture that we reflected on the quote,"Refugees for Refugees"
